Florida Department of Health in Jefferson County offers prenatal care and postnatal care to pregnant women enrolled into our program.
Services include:
– Initial exam
– Monthly exams
– Postnatal care
Once enrolled in our program, your pregnancy will be monitored for any missed OB appointments.
Deliveries are provided at the Tallahassee Memorial Health Care Women’s Pavilion.
Upon notice of positive pregnancy test, patients with no insurance will be referred to the Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PEPW) program. This is a process that completes the application for temporary Medicaid eligibility for prenatal medical care. Eligibility is based on the family units gross income, which must be less than 185% of the federal poverty level.
