Special Needs Registry
Special needs shelters are for those with disabilities or who require medical care that exceeds basic first aid. Preregistration is important so emergency responders can ensure space is reserved for those with the greatest need.
Physically, mentally, or sensory disabled, visually, or hearing-impaired residents or those who may need supplemental oxygen should register for the Special Needs Shelter program with the Jefferson County Emergency Operations Center. Register using the Special Needs Shelter Program link above or call the Jefferson County Emergency Operations Center at 850-342-0211.
